Design and Looks: Samsung Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer
This soundbar has an excellent design in terms of looks. The Samsung soundbar with wireless subwoofer has a minimalist, sleek, and modern design, measuring 2.3 inches tall and 37 inches long, to fit under most TVs without obstructing the screen.
It has a grey, average-looking fabric mesh grille for that touch of elegance to the design, providing not only sophistication to the look but also helping to diffuse the sound evenly. Also, the grille is made of high-quality mesh material that protects the speakers from dust and debris.
You get to see the brushed aluminium texture at the top of the soundbar, along with 4 buttons-
- Power
- Volume Up(Plus)
- Volume Down(minus)
- Input options
The LED display on the front shows the current input source and volume level, making it easy to adjust the settings without having to look at your TV.
The subwoofer, on the other hand, has a more traditional design with a glossy black finish. It measures approximately 15 inches in height and 12 inches in width, making it convenient to place in your room. The subwoofer features a sleek, modern design with clean lines and minimalist aesthetics.
Overall, the minimalist design of the soundbar complements the soundbar’s fabric mesh grille, creating a cohesive and stylish audio system.
Connectivity Options
After an elaborate Samsung C45E soundbar review, we found that the connectivity options are not so great. Samsung soundbar with wireless subwoofer supports Bluetooth connectivity, which lets you stream audio from your smartphone, laptop, and other devices without the need for wires or cables. However, we are unsure why Samsung did not declare the version of Bluetooth.
You don’t get to see the HDMI or HDMI eARC port. It only comes with an optical port.
Though you get the support of Dolby Digital, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Audio, and DTS Virtual X, all this is supported by the only optical port present. The support of all these audio formats becomes useless if your TV is not equipped with an Optical port. This implies that your TV must have an optical port at any cost. Furthermore, the soundbar and subwoofer are wireless, so you can place them anywhere without worrying about unsightly wires cluttering your space.
We believe there are fewer connectivity options presented to you in the 2.1 channel soundbar with wireless subwoofer.
Remote Control: Best Soundbar under 15000
The best soundbar under 15000 is equipped with a remote control to control all the functions of the soundbar without any hassle. Control power, volume, and sound effects with the Samsung TV remote. You can use one compatible Samsung TV remote for total soundbar control because of HDMI CEC compatibility.
Talking about the looks of the remote control, it has a simple and intuitive layout. The power, volume, input selection, and playback control buttons are clearly labelled. Following the Bluetooth pairing button in the remote makes connecting your devices wirelessly via Bluetooth easy.
However, we tested this soundbar with a Sony TV, so we had to use two separate remote controls. Therefore, the use of one remote control for all purposes is valid only when you have a Samsung TV. In case you have a TV of some other brand, then this fails. Under such circumstances, you will have to use two remote controls, one for the soundbar and the other for the TV.
NOTE: After the Samsung C45E soundbar review, we found it is compatible with Samsung’s Universal Remote feature, which also allows you to use your TV’s remote to control the soundbar as well. HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) Compatibility remote control allows you to control all your devices with a single remote control, which ultimately eliminates the requirement for multiple remotes, making the setup process simpler.
Speaker Output: Samsung Soundbar
The total speaker output of the Samsung soundbar with wireless subwoofer is 300W, 100 watts for each soundbar and the satellite speakers. The wireless subwoofer adds 100 watts of bass power, bringing the total output to 300 watts. This powerful output ensures that your audio is delivered with clear, detailed sound and plenty of volume, making it ideal for use in larger rooms or home theatre setups (up to 300 sq. ft).
Additionally, the inclusion of DTS Virtual X provides virtual surround sound for a more immersive experience. Whether you are watching movies or grooving to music, the Samsung soundbar with a wireless subwoofer will not disappoint you.

Audio Quality
According to our Samsung C45E soundbar review, the audio quality of the Samsung 300 watt soundbar is undoubtedly one of the best you can ask for in such a price range. The richness of the audio and proper bass that you get is incredible.
You cannot expect a high bass performance from this soundbar, but you can definitely increase the bass of the soundbar by expanding the level up to +5. After which, the same soundbar and subwoofer give you the response of the upper bass.
When we played the audio using Bluetooth during our Samsung C45E soundbar review, we could not actually experience the actual effects of the bass, but we could feel it virtually. We must not forget that we are paying for the clarity in this 2.1 channel soundbar with wireless subwoofer and not for the bass performance.
One standout feature of this soundbar is its support for both Dolby Digital and DTS Virtual X technologies.
- Dolby Digital provides clear and detailed audio for movies and TV shows.
- DTS Virtual X creates a virtual 3D surround sound experience that makes you feel like you’re in the middle of the action.

Subwoofer
The wireless subwoofer equipped with this soundbar is very compact and sleek. You should not judge it based on its size; rather, we should look at its output to understand the capabilities of this soundbar. Overall, the design of the subwoofer is very, very good.
Note: This soundbar comes with DTS Virtual X, Bass Boost, and Surround Mode, in which Dolby Digital gets activated. However, during the Samsung C45E soundbar review, we recorded the audio in the standard mode.
Bass Performance: Samsung C45E Soundbar Review
In the Samsung C45E soundbar review, we found that this soundbar is not meant for people who are into soundbars with good bass like Boat or other brands. Or the people who like the high upper bass audio signature. You should note that the Samsung brand does not make soundbars of this kind with high bass performance. So, you cannot expect extraordinary audio with booming bass from this Samsung Soundbar.
Overall, the bass response is fantastic with a proper bass. Proper bass is the optimum proportion of the lower and upper bass. In this soundbar, you don’t have to expect layers, considering the price point of this soundbar. This implies you cannot expect that much detail in the bass.
Clarity High Notes
Nonetheless, the clarity you experience in this soundbar is the best part. The clarity of the sound is what you are paying for in this soundbar. The output is 300W, as told by the brand, but many of us can feel that it is less, and the reason for it remains the same. The power is going in clarity and not in the bass, which, according to us, is the best part of this soundbar.
All the audio we recorded was in DTS Virtual X mode. Now, why do we enjoy the DTS Virtual X? The DTS Virtual X audio format provides you with surround sound effects, leading to a more immersive audio experience. The soundbar does not actually have a surround channel, but you can still feel it.
You will not find any compromise in the clarity and dialogue delivery from the Samsung soundbar.
