Emails Updates In a recent announcement, the tech giant Google revealed Gmail’s new feature that lets you translate email on the application. Previously this feature was only limited to the web version of Gmail, but now it is rolled out for both Android and iOS applications.

“For years, our users have conveniently translated emails in Gmail on the web to over 100 languages. Starting today, we’re excited to announce a native translation integration within the Gmail mobile app that will enable you to seamlessly communicate in a wide range of languages.” Google stated in a blog post for Emails.

The working principle of this incredible feature is quite simple; it detects the language and translates it to the default language. However, this procedure must be done manually by tapping the banner on the top of the email saying “Translate to English.”

Users have full control over the translation feature; they can enable and disable the banner or opt never to translate the email from certain languages. Furthermore, users can also customise their translation preferences.
