Hitachi 1.5 ton 5-star 2022 model

The most authentic deal under 1.5 ton AC is- Hitachi 1.5 ton 5-star 2022 model with an actual 1.5-ton cooling capacity. It has an inverter convertible compressor, high-density filter, Antibacterial filter and a dehumidifier. It comes with a filter clean indicator. It provides fast cooling till 52° temp.

Its ISEER rating is 4.55. Hitachi 1.5 ton 5-star AC has 1 year comprehensive, 5 years PCB & 10 years warranty on compressor. It costs Rs 43,800 on Amazon & Rs 47,000 on Flipkart. This is a fantastic AC for rooms up to 185 sq ft. Hitachi ACs require a minimum of 2 services in a year. This is the best AC for best cooling.

“The cheapest AC that attracts everyone but which we don’t completely recommend is Samsung 1.5 ton 5-star 2022 model with actual 1.42-ton cooling capacity.

It costs Rs 42,000 on Amazon & Rs 40,000 on Flipkart. We were not satisfied with the quality of its condenser and copper tubes and this is the reason why we do not recommend it. But as always, the choice is absolutely yours.”

There are three options in the category of the best 1.5 ton AC of a good brand (below Rs 40,000) –

1. Hitachi 1.5 ton 3 star (2022)
2. Voltas 1.5 ton 3 star (2022)
3. LG 1.5 ton 3 star (2022)

Hitachi AC has an actual 1.5 ton, LG AC has 1.42 ton & Voltas AC has a 1.37-ton cooling capacity. They have inverter compressors and good filters. ISEER rating of Hitachi is 3.55, of LG is 3.68 & that of Voltas is 3.55. Hitachi has 1 year comprehensive and 10 years warranty on the compressor.

LG provides 1 year comprehensive, 5 years PCB and 10 years warranty on compressor. Voltas has 1 year comprehensive and 10 years warranty on the compressor.

Don’t be confused by their ISEER ratings. An AC with a lower cooling capacity will have a higher ISEER rating and vice versa. According to us, Hitachi is number 1 and LG is number 2. We don’t recommend Voltas and we would recommend you avoid it. It is an over-prized AC.

(4) Hot and Cold AC- Best Discount on AC

LG 1.5 ton 3-star (2022) hot and cold model

The best hot and cold AC for both summers and winters is LG 1.5 ton 3-star (2022) hot and cold model with an actual 1.47-ton cooling capacity (more than any other LG AC). It has a dual inverter compressor with 5-in-1 convertible modes (both heating and cooling).  Along with 100% copper tubes, it also has Ocean Black protection.

LG 1.5 ton 3-star hot and cold AC comes with Auto-Clean tech and a dehumidifier. It has an Anti-Allergy filter as well as a Smart diagnosis. The ISEER rating is 3.96. It has 1 year comprehensive, 5 years PCB and 10 years warranty on compressor.

This LG hot and cold AC costs Rs 43,400 on Amazon & Rs 47,500 on Flipkart on the cooling day sale. There are no cons to this AC. This is a good AC for rooms up to 185 sq ft. Its revolving valve is fantastic. Ocean black protection is an amazing feature you get in this AC.

(5) 1-Ton AC – Best Discount on AC

For a 110 sq ft room, there are two best 1-ton ACs-

1. LG 1 ton 5-star (2022)
2. Panasonic 1 ton 5-star (2022).

LG AC has 0.99 ton (3500W) and Panasonic has 1.02 ton (3600W) cooling capacity. Their prices vary. They both have dual inverter compressors. LG has 5-in-1 convertible modes and Panasonic has an Auto convertible option. They both have 100% copper tubes and condensers.

LG has Ocean Black protection whereas Panasonic has Blue Fin technology. Both of them have a chemical coating on the condenser & coils to prevent them from sediment & salt. Their ISEER ratings vary. LG has a 5.20 whereas Panasonic has a 4.60 ISEER rating. They have the same warranty package i.e 1 year comprehensive, 5 years PCB and 10 years warranty on compressor.

We recommend LG AC with a 5.02 ISEER rating. Both are good ACs but in this particular comparison, LG is the winner.

(6) Window AC

We only recommend non-inverter window AC as inverter window AC is not that useful. The two most amazing options under window AC are-

1. Bluestar 1.5 ton 5-star (2022)
2. Hitachi 1.5 ton 3-star (2022)

They both are good options. Bluestar has 1.39 tons whereas Hitachi has a 1.47 tons cooling capacity. These fixed-speed compressor ACs come with 100% copper condenser and tubes. Their chemical coating on fins and tube ends prevents them from sediment and salt.

Hitachi AC stands out with its cooling even at 52°C. Bluestar has 3.40 whereas Hitachi has 3.09 ISEER. They both have the same warranty package which is 1 year comprehensive and 5 years warranty on the compressor.

The star labelling i.e 3-star or 5-star doesn’t have much impact on power consumption. You must go for the most lucrative deal. Bluestar AC has one con- it is apt only for rooms up to 160 sq ft.

Hitachi has a better cooling capacity as compared to Bluestar. Now the final choice is yours. As compared to the other ACs of various brands, the Bluestar AC and Hitachi AC stand out under the category of window ACs.
