How to choose a panel for Best 43 Inch 4K TV 2022?
VA PANEL | IPS PANEL |
If you have a dark room and you prefer watching TV at night, then the VA panel fits your needs. | But if you have a bright room or if your room receives more Sunlight, then go for an IPS panel. |
Process of selection of the Best 43 Inch 4K TV 2022
On the fifth position, we selected 4 TVs- Redmi TV, Realme TV, OnePlus Y1S Pro TV and Motorola Revou 2 TV. We don’t recommend Motorola Revou 2 TV and we advise you to avoid it. Now we were left with two options as Realme TV and OnePlus Y1S Pro are the same.
Redmi TVs’ peak HDR brightness is 315 nits whereas that of the OnePlus Y1S pro is above 400 nits. OnePlus is a clear winner in terms of brightness but that doesn’t mean its picture quality is better. Brightness is only a number. Good brightness does not translate to the best picture quality.

Dolby Vision:
Sony X74K supports HDR10 and HLG but its HDR10 performance is mind-blowing. Samsung Crystal Neo and LG UQ7500 do not support Dolby Vision yet LG TV gave the second-best performance of Dolby Vision.
In the third position was Samsung, the fourth was Hisense and the last was Redmi TV. HDR10, HLG, and Dolby vision are all HDR formats. No TVs in this range show detailed content in 350-360 nits brightness. For good picture quality what matters is dynamic range and color optimization.

Blacks:
We tested the performance of their blacks by playing the same content in them simultaneously. You can watch this in our video given below.
Except for LG TV, all other three TVs have VA panels and VA panels produce good blacks. However, the blacks produced by LG TV were also good. But what we noticed was that the colors were quite different along with blacks and this was due to their different color optimizations.
- Samsung Crystal Neo
- Sony X74K, LG UQ7500, Hisense A6H, Redmi TV
Color performance:
The colors of all these TVs are slightly over-saturated.
- Sony X74K has a very close-to-natural color profile.
- Redmi has red and green as over-saturated colors.
