Our review for their services (from all locations) is ‘Good’.

Blowhot provides a 2-year comprehensive warranty. It costs ₹16K.

Pros and cons:

It is cheap & the best hob. It is cheap in price and the best in quality. The built quality is good. Space between burners is apt. A wok and a vessel can be easily kept side by side without any issue of space. 1 con- the burners are 100% brass. This is not a major con but you should know.

2. FABER Hob/Hobtop 4 Burner- Best Kitchen Hobs in India

On number 4 is Faber 4 burner Hobtop. It can be used as both a cooktop and a hob. It has 4 burners- 2 large & 2 small. It comes with Electric Auto Ignition. It has an 8mm toughened glass top and brass burners with black enamel. It has Cast iron pan support and metal knobs with golden inserts.

Our review for their services (from all locations) is ‘Good’ as Faber didn’t deny service on any location. We told them that the hob is out of warranty to which they provided services at a nominal charge of ₹400. Faber provides a 1-year comprehensive warranty. It costs ₹15,500 (good).

Pros and cons:

It is a good hob top that can be used as a hob and a cooktop too. The built quality, glass and burners are good. It is a beautiful hob top. 1 con- the space between these 2 burners is very little. Analyze your need and see if this hob top fits in.

3. GLEN 4 Burner-Best Kitchen Hobs in India

Number 3 in our list of best hobs 2022 is Glen 4 burner Hob (2 large, 2 small). It comes with Auto Ignition via battery. It has an 8mm toughened glass top and double ring forged brass burners (brass is melted into the shape of a burner). Normal brass burners are hollow but forged burners are not hollow. Forged burners are good quality burners. There are high-quality gas valves to prevent any gas leakages. It has enamelled pan support and a non-removable stainless steel drip tray. There are metal knobs.

Our review for their services (from all locations) is ‘Average’ as Glen provides good service up to 25Km but after that, they asked for travel charges (unacceptable). Glen doesn’t have many service stations which means travelling charge is mandatory. Glen provides a 2-year comprehensive warranty. It costs ₹19K which is justified due to its good quality.

Pros and cons:

Its forged brass burners are excellent. The space between burners is good. The built quality is good. There is just 1 con which is the service. Consider it if there is a Glen service centre near you. Otherwise, skip it.

4. KAFF 4 Burner- Best Kitchen Hobs in India

Kaff 4 burner hob is number 2 in my list of best hobs 2022. Kaff 4 burner Hob has 2 large, and 2 small burners. It comes with electric auto Ignition. It has an 8mm tempered glass top and 2 tripled rings and 2 double ring brass burners. The gas comes from rings and more gas (heat) is produced from triple ring burners (faster cooking). It has Auto Electric Ignition and Cast Iron Pan Support. There is a non-removable steel drip tray and metal knobs.

Pros and cons:

Our review for their services (from all locations) is ‘Good’. It has good built quality, good burner size, and good space. It costs ₹22,500. Kaff provides a 2-year comprehensive warranty. Cons- It is not clear whether these are 100% brass burners or not. That is the only concern. Otherwise, it is a premium hob with premium quality and good quality materials.

5. BOSCH 4 Burner- Best Kitchen Hobs in India

The best hob in 2022 is an Italian burner style hob- Bosch 4 burner Hob (1 wok burner large, 2 medium, and 1 small). It comes with Electric Auto Ignition. It has an 8mm toughened glass top and Flame Failure Safety Device. It has side-mounted controls and single-handed ignition via control knobs. Its dedicated burner for a wok is a good thing. Our review for their services (from all locations) is ‘Good’.

The after-warranty service charges of Bosch are higher than other brands. If the other brands charge ₹500 then Bosch charges around ₹750 with taxes. Bosch provides a 2-year comprehensive warranty. It costs ₹23K which is justified due to its good quality.

Pros and cons:

Its biggest pro is the Flame Failure Safety Device which prevents all sorts of fire hazards. The space between burners is very good and there will be no issue in terms of space. Cons- It has soft plastic knobs. They are very delicate. They will rotate just by touching them. The good thing is the Flame Failure Safety device which will protect the hob and the gas.
